Happy Holidays from Ashburn Inline
In the Mites division on 12/18, the players
narrowly defeated the parents in OT to win this
hotly contested game. Better luck next year
parents!
In the Pee Wee
division, the playoffs held a lot of close games
and great hockey. In the first weekend of
playoffs, the Yellow Jackets doubled up the
Grapes, 6-3 to move to the Championship game.
And the Men In White came back from behind to
tie the game and then score the winner in OT vs
the Mighty Smurfs. That was a hard fought
playoff game by both teams.
For the Consolation
game (12/14) between the Mighty Grapes and the
Mighty Smurfs, it too went into OT with the
Grapes edging out the Smurfs to capture 3rd
place.
For the Championship
game on 12/18, a hard fought game between the
Men In White and the Yellow Jackets ended in a
6-1 victory by the Men In White. Congrats to
Men In White for capturing the trophy this
season. They went undefeated this season (9-0-2
in the regular season) and it was not easy with
a lot of close games.
The Bantam division
also finished up their “round-robin” season
yesterday and had a great season at the Dulles
SportsPlex. I don’t know who had a better time
with the games: players or coaches? Both is the
answer!

your friends to join in the fun next year.

Spring registration will
open in late January or early February with games
starting mid to late March 2012.
Mites and Pee
Wees play at Trailside Rink; Bantams play at Dulles SportsPlex
for games. All ages practice at Trailside (outdoor rink).
Cost
for Mites and Pee Wee divisions is $150 per
player with sibling, goalie, new player and
referral discounts (Contact us for codes if you
qualify). Cost for Bantam division is $195 per
player, also with sibling, new player, referral
and goalie discounts.
We're always happy to field any questions you may have
especially for new players, questions about hockey gear etc. If
you're new to the game, let us know and we may be able to get
you some gear to try out until you get new gear or to see if you
like the game (gear is limited in size and amount available).
NEW This season -> we are
joining USA Roller Sports. Make sure you join for insurance

Due to some delays in getting our club registration completed if
you haven't signed up yet, you can hold off for now, but will be
required to do this per player once we let you know they are
ready to process membership for our players.
USA Hockey Inline is no longer
affiliated with inline hockey and we will be joining USA Roller
Sports.
